Filters in the shower

OP here. I just wanted to update the thread in case it can be of help to anyone else:

Basically, I called Mira who were the manufacturers of my shower unit and they advised that the filters in the shower unit were probably blocked. I got a plumber to clean the filters and lo and behold.... the shower pressure is much improved.
