Doing a first fix in a solid floor high ceiling kitchen with all the sockets on their own ring.
Currently the walls are clean brickwork. If I drop the feed from the ceiling to the first socket in capping can I continue down from that socket to the floor and then run the cables on the floor underneath the kitchen units service space (where the legs are at the back of each unit) and then go up and back down to each of the other wall sockets as long as I cover the cables on the wall in capping ?
The last cable will go back up to the ceiling in capping to complete the ring.
When finished the walls will be dot n dabbed over the cappings with plasterboard so the only exposed cables will be on the floor at the back of each kitchen cabinet ?
Or do I have to put them in plastic trunking along the floor ?
