Fitting A filling loop

Hello,

I think th internal filling loop in my boiler has packed up. Water is going to the boiler but there is no water getting into the c/h system. I have just replaced a rad and cannot refill the c/h.

How do i fit a filling loop and what are the rules around it.

Are the flow and return valves open?

turn off water , drain heating
cut water pipe and insert tee attach valve
ditto heating side
refill vent
then post cos you can't get the boiler working
