I've bought a steel bath but it does not come with any legs or supports.
I was planning an building a wooden support frame, with the bath sitting in the middle so that there is about 5cm of tile around the bath. I would preferably like to tile under the edge of the bath so that the edge is a lot neater, but If I then install the bath I would assume the weight of the bath, water and person would crack the tiles. I guess I could install the bath then tile up to the edge. Anyone have any thoughts on the best approach for this?
Can the edge edges of the bath support the weight or do I need to support the bath on the flat areas around the rim?
cheers
Jamie
