Fitting a Strip Light

Agreed it won't matter if it's a standard 1g 1w switch but in another instance, what if a link live is taken off the common terminal to another common terminal and you've wired it arse-about-tit?

they ought to make twin red with a black stripe dowm one of the cores so you can identify them ( or twin brown as it is now.. )

also, what's wrong with changing the flex to the bayonet cap for 3 core and connecting to the existing rose that way? it becomes a junction box then...

obviously it would be naff in a house, but in the garage it wouldn't be that bad..

the sooner they make "klick" roses mandatory, the sooner we stop getting people wiring fancy lights up wrong.. :)
