fitting new hinges top openers

had big problems fitting two new hinges to a top opener
could not get same hinges which were allready fitted due to age of hinges , but got somthing similar with fixing holes near identicial, prolbem i had was when fitted window would not close as hitting frame on bottom when closing, has any body got any advices on correct fitting procedure or advices on how to fit

When hinges are fitted to the sashes in the factory they use a jig, once out on site you have to guess, just shut the window to and see how much it needs lifting, then unscrew one hinge at a time from the sash and reposition the hinge slightly lower, this will have the effect of lifting the sash up
