fitting outdoor cw glands

Hi,

My cable is 2.5mm 3 core SWA.Glands are outdoor CW 20 brass.

I know this question has been asked before, but i have done searches and cannot find clear instructions / diagrams on how to fit these glands to the swa. The glands came in a polly bag with no instructions. I have read on many posts here on how important it is to ensure these glands are fitted correctly to ensure good earth.Does anyone know of a good site / topic i can go to.

The best policy if you can spare a core is to use yellow for earth (sleeved or taped green/yellow) as well as the armour. This way, you are not relying on the armour for earth protection.

Have had a quick scout round for piccys, but can't find any? Anyone handy with a spare chunk of SWA, a CW gland and a digi camera?
