Hi, all the threads i can see talk about pinning coving to support it while it goes off. however this seems to mainly be in rooms with stud walls and plasterboard.

However my flat has brick internal walls, newly plastered, and a concrete ceiling, also newly plastered

Id like to put plaster coving up rather then the cheap polystyrene stuff but have a feeling any attempt to pin it will end up with seriously damaged plaster work

can anyone advise a way of supporting the coving so not to have to try to pin masonry walls and concrete ceilings,

Thanks in advance

Your going to have to pin it, it is only a tack to keep in place while adhesive goes off. You may have slight remedial work but that is how it is!
