I have some areas where i need to infill with bonding - shall i be using this to attach my thin coat angle beading to the window reveals on the new plasterboarded areas? i have heard that a dab of skim every 300mm will keep the beads in place but that sounds iffy to me?

I also have some large gaps between the boards so was going to get some joint filler to put into the gaps and then self adhesive skrim tape over (and just tape the better butt joints). Could i use joint filler to hold beads in place?

Thanks for help

I like to fill everything. Then you can trim it back when it's dry.

Yes. Sand it or trim with a chisel etc.

Can i use bonding to fill the joints? there is foil backed insulation behind the plasterboard - will this make any difference?
Will i be ok just using bonding straight onto brick party wall up to the level of the current plaster and then skim the whole lot? or should i dot and dab some plasterboard on the exposed brick? If dot and dab - can bonding be used as an adhesive?

Thanks
Eddy

Don't be dot and dabbing foil back plasterboard on the walls!!! As it will not stick!! Always use Dry wall adhesive for your dotting and put loads of dots on the wall.
