fixing plasterboard to mdf type board?

I am going to put up a 4x3m modular building from Sweden. The wall SIP units have a 9mm board, similar to mdf but with a more polished surface, on the interior side.
What's the best way to fix plasterboard over this board?

why plaster over them?

just paint or paper over them..

if you really want to stick plasterboard over them then construction adhesive ( no-nails, gripfill etc.. ) with the occasional screw to hold the boards while the glue goes off is the best bet..
