Hi All
I found a damaged piece of felt on the room which has let water in and I need to do a repair. The roof is budgeted to be replaced next summer but I need to do a repair for now.
I have some bitumen sealant for the roof anyway but need to use a bit of felt for the repair area. Could I get away with using some shed felt for now especially as it will be covered with the bitumen sealant anyway?
I would have happy to use the correct grade of felt if I could pick up a sheet rather than £60 roll for a smallish repair when I have a roll of shed stuff.
Any advise would be great
Thanks
Glenn
