I recently moved in to a new house (15 years old) and the radiators are not heating up properly. The are only hot one side and along the top.
All the rads in the house are original and are piped one side to the top and other side to the bottom opposite ends.
However the house has a combination boiler that has been changed recently but before I moved in, and I notice that the flow is coming in the bottom pipe of each radiator and out the top.
So my questions are
Is it not right that the flow should be coming in the top and out the bottom? And this is the reason for the cold rads?
Can this be fixed by reversing the flow and return at the boiler?
Cheers
