Hi
I have installed 10 x double 5' fluorescent lights in my garage (which is probably too many!) so i would like to be able to wire the lights so i can either switch one, or two tubes on in each fitting but whichever wire i break it stops either tube from coming on.
Any suggestions?

Thanks

Often with twin tubes something is done to reduce the stroboscopic effect be it using a capacitor or a HF ballast, the latter often designed only to run with all tubes connected. Without knowing how your lamps are wired can't really answer the question.

Thanks Andy, but wouldn't that make it dark down one end of the garage?

Ban-all-sheds, it has one ballast.
