Focus Dashboard light

Help.. The light has gone off on the dashboard panel Ford Focus (X Reg) Is it likely to be just a bulb? If so how do I change it, if something else any ideas?

THE light? My Fiesta has tens of lights on the dashboard.

start off by checking the fuses but earlier escort models gave this fault when the light switch itself went faulty,have you noticed if any of the external lights have failed such as rear sidelights?

Thanks ch427. iste just the actual instrument panel light, the individual warning/ indicator lights are all working on the instrument panel. Its the instrument panel background light (or lights) which is off. All the exterior lights are ok
