We have just had a new kitchen installed. We chose a Franke "pull-out" mixer tap + franke water filter, but now have problems. The flow rate isn't just slow it's more like a useless dribble, regardless of hor or cold water temperature.
The tap says it needs 4M of head of water, which I believe is about 2bar. We have a megaflow for hot water and our cold water is connected to mains. Our mains is about 3.5bar, checked during the kitchen installation. So we should have plenty of flow.
The kitchen installers have blamed it on our choice of tap and walked away. We now have no idea what to do. Is the tap faulty, and if so how do we prove it, or have the installers done something to affect the flow rate to the tap and how would we prove that?
