I've been in this trade for many years and noted something last week.
My fridge thermostat (stat) packed in.
Out of interest I googled a replacement, which were coming in at anything up to £40 +, with delivery on top. Yes, all business has a right to make a profit, but some sites just take the pee!
I bought the exact same stat from our trade supplier for £15..
With all fridges, the manufacturer rarely makes the stat, they are bought in from others, and the same one, or equivalent is always available.
If you think the stat is faulty on your fridge, post it up here and I will try to help.
A. To confirm it's the fault.
B. To point you in the right direction to get a correct / equivalent replacement at a sensible price - I may have to cross reference from tech info I have.
