Hi
the fuse on the CH isolator blew then noticed the programmer -acl lifestyleLP522, was not on...battery gone so replaced battery now programmer is going again but when I put it back in circuit the fuse blows again...is it just coincidence the battery being down?...I assume it's something more serious
cheers Pete

As baxi says, disconnect the cable to the pump and try it, then move on to the next which might be the fan on the boiler.

Might be a good idea to call in an expert for that tho

Look by the motorised valves ,leaking pump valve dripping into them is the favourite for blowing fuses

A useful trick if you suspect the pump is to wire it seperately to a mains plug with a 3 A fuse!
