GAP FROM VELUX TO RIDGE

Hi everyone,

Going to be fitting a Velux window soon but the gap from the top of the window to the top of the ridge will be just over 12 inches.

Will this still be ok?

I have seen it many times were the ridge tile is the only thing above the skylight it will be fine.
