Hi Guys,

I’m currently building a garden room and I’ve just got it water tight this weekend.

I have run a 6mm armoured cable to the room and I’d like to put a consumer unit in there to control the power for the sockets, lights, outdoor lights and hot tub.

What consumer unit would I need?

I have a garden room, it was a garage, and I now would like to turn it back into a garage, as being charged £1000 per year council tax on it. In my case the garden room supplies the main house, it has a 60 amp supply from grid, and a further 6 kW from solar and a further 3 kW from the battery. I am sure very different to your garden room, so I have to agree with @jurassic sparkk this is not a job to work out how to do over a forum, you need some one on site to assess your requirements.
