I have had 4 different Central Heating companies surveying my house, and the amount of contradictory advice / disinformation received is very frustrating. e.g.

1) Copper or Plastic pipework

2) A combi boiler can /cannot supply a split circuit

3) Boiler location

Is anybody else having the sam experience?

For what it is worth-
COPPER OR PLASTIC? - Depends on where the pipe work is being located, Copper in my view is always best, however in concrete for example, then plastic is best - so take installers advice

YES - Combi boilers can feed a split circuit, (you will need to devise a wiring scheme) but it isn't difficult

LOCATION - Avoid Attic as a boiler location except as a LAST RESORT

Hope that helps!! ;)
