Hi,
system: standard open vented, 2 zone valves
About a week ago we had gas valve replaced as it broke down, plumber had set gas pressure to 12.5 and said this should be fine. He had to guess it as we don't have boiler manual and it's impossible to get one.
Unfortunately I have noticed that I have to turn thermostat down to keep heat output on similar level to what it was before replacement. From time to time I can also hear some hissing coming from inside of the boiler which resembles sound of water boiling which makes me think that boiler burns to much gas and creates more heat than it should.
Does anyone know what is the correct output pressure for this boiler?
Can I change pressure myself or do I have to get CORGI man to do it?
Is it safe to use it if pressure is to high?
thanks in advance for any help or suggestions...
