I have a gloworm Micron 80FF ( 7 years old). Board and fan was replaced 2 years ago. In the past few weeks I have had to rest the boiler on several occasions. This was the same problem I had when the boards were replced in 2006. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem this time around.

if two green lights flicker from one to the other it means there is a fault with the thermistor, id be tempted to change it anyway as glowworm said prev faults with the thermistor can damage the pcb

try cleaning electrodes ends and adjust spark gap and also clean ceramic on electrode.

Unless it was old stock micron boards two years ago were the corrected ones so it shouldn't fail again.

Also if a fan takes out a board it is permanently dead not intemittently dead.
