Glow-worm Space Saver 50bf keeps going out.. freeeezing here

Hi there..
I have an old Glow-worm Space Saver 50bf. With just the pilot on.. it stays on indefinatly, But when the heating clicks on, it goes off after a bit (within an hour, longer if the pilot is left on for a while, shorter it pilot is just lit) and takes the pilot with it. Pilot relights no problem, but as soon as I turn on the heating again it clicks off again after a minute or so with a positive click inside, turning the pilot off too. Worked fine for years..
I'd appreciate any tips anyone could give. only have heating for a couple of hours at a time at the moment (glad for my thermal underwear)

Possibly the main burner is depriving the pilot of gas. Needs corgi wallah to service.
