Drained down system fitted new radiator valve have now filled system again very slow in filling system back up think loads of air still in it fired boiler back up stays on for about 2 minutes then safety switch cuts in my question is also what position should the Drayton monitirised valve be in beside hot water tank in cupboard upstairs any help would be much appreciated

you should have moved the motorised valve to manually open when re-filling the system
