Green spots on clothing after washing

I keep getting green spots on my clothes after washing them. Is this lime, or oil, is it the same as the other lady whose getting black spots. It's an older machine, and I would like to know how to fix it. Please advise.

you do not say what m/c this is only a thought mind.

you get spots, becasue the drum has round holes (that is a fact) you have something in their contaminating it, but what could be anyones guess, black marks are grease where the bearings are going,, not heard of green

need to replace seal as it is letting in grease
