I moved into a property with a Halstead Eden CBX 32. The pressure has gone down to nearly zero and I've opened the screw on the copper pipe, as opposed to the flexi pipe which looks like a gas one, which I hope was the right thing to do. Being a woman I'm not too sure of these things. However the pressure is just not going up. Should the boiler be switched on or off whilst doing this?
Please help someone and not too technical or I won't understand!

the flexi pipe would normally be the filling loop, I can't guess what screw you opened.[/img]

the eden has a fixed filling loop underneath at each end you will find a small brass fitting each has a 4mm square head with a slight slot. turning them a quarter turn allows the boiler to be filled (be careful as they fill quickly) turn both off when you have finished
