handbrake not very tight after caliper,disc and pad change

hi to all,after performing the above the handbrake takes about 5 clicks to hold the car(mondeo mk 3)..is this the norm.i thought the brake would be fairly tight.it was before i changed the calipers (both sides).they had seized but were nipping up but not releasing.now it doesnt feel right..am i worring too much do you think. maybe the cable is binding somewhere??
has anybody got any suggestions please

5 clicks is ok, once it goes above 8 the cable will need adjusting, once the pads have bedded into the new discs it will improve, although the discs look smooth they will have loads of tiny ridges on them that the pads need to wear into.

when you replace stuff its quite difficult to adjust self adjusters without brakes binding on

adjust handbrake cable without tightening too much

after adjustment jack wheels up and spin wheel to ensure brakes arent binding
