header tank gurgling

hi i have a small problem with my header tank gurgling
the problem is when the boiler fires up i get a gurgling noise in the
header tank.i assume its probably air?coming from the expansion pipe?
i have the pump set on 2 when gurgling occurs.when i turn the pump
down to 1 the gurgling stops.problem is i think i need pump set on 2
for central heating to work efficiently.i live in a bungalow with loft
conversion and header tank is in our bedroom as high as we can get it
is there any other solution to this problem other than altering pump speed

can you raise the level of the vent ?

no i am afraid header tank is as high as it will go
