Heating programmer changes setting on it's own! spooky or kn

hi,
my 3 year old Honeywell ST9400C has started changing the heating side of settings (water side ok) all on it's own - e.g. from 'auto' to 'all day' etc.

anything I can do other than replace the unit please?

Replace it, it's knackered - there was a very large faulty batch of these that hit the market, faults are varied but commonplace (congratulations - your particular fault is a new one on me). The new versions are supposed to be OK and it's a simple straight swap
