We switched heating on from being off over the summer, pump failed to start (grundfos UPS3 15-50/65) propeller seized, managed to take pump apart to free propeller and started to work. Boiler (wall star 20/24 oil fired ) fired up and could feel some heat starting to come down pipes to radiator. Boiler then stoped but not gone to lock out. After a while boiler will kick in again for 2 minutes then cut out again. Boiler seems as if over heating then start again when cooled down. Any advice please.

Lack of circulation ,is pump spinning ? Possible air lock.

May or may not be. Could be full of air with no water in it.
