Hello,

First time buyer moved into my house 2 days ago. It's only 2 years old and all the power was switched off for a few months.

I have a DD170 Mega Flo direct boiler. The water will heat when i hit the boost button but there was no hot water this morning when i assumed it heated during Off peak?

Can anyone explain how it set it up?

There is a switch to move between winter and summer, a sliding switch to set the on and off time for the timed boost. A manual boost button. And a switch for off/timed which i obviously turned to timed.

What should i do?

The lower immersion heater should come on automatically at night when the cheap rate starts.

Follow the flex from this and make sure any switch is set to on.

Also check the times set on your timer if it is controlling this.

You could also open the cover to this immersion and check that the overheat lockout button (red) hasn't popped out.

If it has push it in and wait till tomorrow. If it pops again you need a sparky to check things.
