Currently got an old close coupled toilet, the flush is rubbish and it looks horrid.

Was thinking of replacing it with a new, fancy angular looking toilet. However most of these are back to wall, or require the soil pipe to be almost directly beneath, or directly behind the toilet waste.

My problem is that my soil pipe comes is running along the wall and come in from the side, most nice looking modern toilets don't allow for the soil pipe to come in this way.

My solution?

Hide all the pipes (including soil) in a stud wall, put the toilet up against the stud wall.

What do you think? Any potential problems? A waste of money?

Thanks
