Help - No hot water from one tap

The mixer shower tap in the bathroom seems to want to do what it wants to.

I opened the tap this morning and it was fine for 10secs, then it lost all flow, open the sink tap and the flow returned.

Now the only way to keep it flowing is to leave the sink tap slightly open

What could be causing this, any help appreciated
