Hope someone can help. We've been having problems with all the radiators in our house and after trying all sorts we are at our wits end now, here's the story so far...
The radiators downstairs are flat cold and the pipes leading up to them are cold too, the upstairs ones are lukewarm but the pipes into them all are red hot, the pipes out of them are cold or very slightly warm, we have drained the whole system down, tried balancing them all and as far as we can tell the boiler and pump seem to be working fine, all radiators bled and water came out when air stopped. We've also tried turning all rads off leaving one on at a time to try and test this way but still nothing to downstairs ones and upstairs still only lukewarm.
We have a small house, only 5 rads, combi boiler system which is situated upstairs. Anyone got any ideas its freezing and can't afford a plumber 😞

Have you tried removing the rads one by one and flushing them though outside.

With each rad off try linking the valves together with pipe and running the system.

Have you checked the pump as advised in the FAQ ?

If you cannot fix it yourself then you are going to remain cold if you cannot afford a plumber to fix it for you.

If you really are needy then Warmheat have schemes to help people.
