You should the follow the manufacturers instructions regarding the installation of an extractor fan - most will insist on a 3 Amp fused connection unit built into the circuit and those fans with an over run facility will require three core cable and a three pole isolator.
Then there is the issue of whether you have the light on a the same time as the shower?

You will need to be aware that you need to inform your Local Authority Building Control and pay their fee before you start this work on the bathroom. As you have already fitted an electrically pumped shower in the bathroom I am surprised you didn't advise the LABC that you also intended to fit an extractor fan when you told them about the shower - it would have saved you some time and money.
