Hi

I have recently moved into a new house and the 5 old Biasi stopped working. It was a faulty board which costs a fortune to replace so decided to get a new one.

I had couple of engineers in but one is saying that 28 KW is ok for my property but the other insists that it should be minimum 30 KW or above. The property details are as follows:

Medium size mid terraced house
Three average sized bedroom upstairs
Bath upstairs
Reception downstairs
Seperate dinning downstairs but not huge in size
An extension which links kitchen with the dinning
A small shower room downstairs

Is 28 KW ok? He is proposing Glow Worm Easicom 28 KW

Thanks for your help

On a well insulated property for central heating purposes, lower output boilers are generally fine. When it comes to the hot water demand then it would be depended on the loading required and frequency of use.

So for hot water demand, the 30kW would be better than the 28kW.

Ideal logic do a 7 year warranty, where as I believe glowworm is only 2 years.
With little difference in price.
