Hello all I have now finished insulating between the joists and I'm redy to install my reclaimed pine floor.
I am finding it hard to get the flooring to lock together. (t and g)
I tried screwing the first board down but then cannot get the second to butt up to it afterwards.
How much gap should I leave between boards bearing in mind it's summer and you have to leave room for expansion.
An tips from anyone on this please please.
Also how many screws should I put on the width of each board if the board is 5 inch wide?two?

Thanks
