Hi jacked / split post

traditional closeboard, with 100 x 100 posts and morticed arris rails. No contest with anything else!

Im about to buy wood for fence, can you describe what the above looks like please, also ive priced wood from sawmills locally in ayrshire is there anwhere online uk that you can get wood cheaper?

a local fencing supplier or sawmill will be the cheapest and best. you can check the quality. Fencing materials are becoming a bit scarce as it the timber for them so prices are starting to get pushed up a bit, due to all the high winds over the last few months.
