HI Lo Stat Thorn Apollo 15/10

As you look at a Thorn Apollo 15 / 30 on the heat exchanger is a stat that is connected to the thermocouple. Is this the Hi or Low stat, the stat that is connected at the moment the stat numbers are,

T24 LC
A/082-15
A627

Also I have seen to types one that need soldering to the original wires and another that has push on connectors that comes pre wired, which is best and are they interchangable ?

neither its the OH stat. comes with wires already soldered and you screw the other ends to TC

Seems a Hi stat had been soldered to the original wires and that's the reason the boiler kept turning off, replaced with O/H stat and all works fine now

The genuine manufacturer's type is presoldered. There are also some generic cheap copies ready soldered.

The even cheaper type are just a stat which you have to solder yourself. Get a problem after using one of these and CORGI will be biting your neck!
