Honeywell accenta g4

I fitted a g4minii and programmed it as per engineers manual.
It works ok in programme one but when I try to set programme two which omits two zones for night time on entering the user code and pressing P the alarm continues to time out and programme two cannot be accessed.
Any ideas on what I am I am doing wrong.
I bought another G4thinking that the circuit board may be the problem but I am getting the same result

You need to program an exit mode in program 2 setup or it will always revert to program 1 when you arm.
