honeywell cm921 thermostat

Help! The digital display on my thermostat has failed. I have changed the batteries but I get no display. The heating still comes on when I switch it on but I can't use the automatic timer. Do I need to replace the thermostat and receiver, or will a new thermostat work with the existing receiver?

You can just replace the thermostat like for like and pair it to the existing receiver

Fantastic thanks. Will the new thermostat automatically talk to the receiver, or does it need installing by a heating engineer?

You will need to follow the pairing procudure to get it to talk to your existing receiver. It will be in the instructions that come with the thermostat

Is the honeywell cm 901, compatible? Or does it have to be a 921 to be able to pair?

No. It is not wireless

Nope you could also use a 927, 721 or 727
