Hi,

I have been reading some recent threads on the Honeywell thermostat CM927 and I am not clear if i need to link the l terminal to the a terminal within the receiver.

I could do with some advice, is a link between terminals needed for this stat?

thanks

This product isn't meant for directly fitting in lieu of a roomstat.

The receiver is designed to be permanently powered up, so is normally connected to the wiring centre in the case of a normal boiler, or directly to the boiler in the case of a combi.

I have a worcester combi boiler.
My question is about the link between terminals at the receiver end.

It depends if your boiler has its own room 'stat supply.
You might need a four core and earth cable

Most recent Worcesters would require Ls and Lr on the boiler to be connected to A and B on the CM927.

Live and neutral would be supplied separately.

However, in most cases you could also use Ls as the L supply to the receiver, assuming the combi doesn't have an inbuilt clock timer.
