Hoover Select HSPF 167

Our washing machine which is a Hoover select 1600 HSPF167 is running through the spin cycle but there is water remaining and the clothes are wetter than they should be. Also the door lock will not clear at the end of a cycle unless the power is turned off. Is this a logic problem or is the door lock related to the failure to clear all the water during the spin?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Doh! Lint Filter was packed solid, seems to be ok now.
