Hi
I am trying to replace my ageing Drayton RTC Thermostat with a newer wireless thermostat (Horstmann HRT4-ZW) but having difficulties trying to work out the wiring required.
My exiting Drayton room thermostat has 4 wires in total:
1 green (earth)
1 yellow
1 blue (neutral?)
1 red
I believe I can omit the neutral wire (based on a bit of googling I have come to this assumption?). I just need to clarify where the yellow and red cable goes. I thought the yellow went to connector number 2 and the red to number 4 (this is the link to the install guide http://www.horstmann.co.uk/downloads/ElectronicDocuments/Central-Heating/HRT4-ZWweb.pdf). When trying this nothing happens on the display of the receiver no lights come on but the heating appears to work and nothing went bang! As this didn't work I then swapped the red and yellow cables but again nothing happened. It would appear that the unit doesn't receive any power?
Please help!
Thanks.
