Hello all ,

I have nice hot rads - been switched on for a couple of weeks but in all that time no hot water .

the hot water works if the central heating is off .

i have a three way valve above the pump which i'm told will always heat rads first , then should switch to hot water .

the valve was replaced in the summer and worked

any ideas please ?

Not so, a three port should always rest at the DHW position & move to CH or mid position when it's powered up.
Have a look on the body of the valve & you will see that the ports are marked A B & C, B should be for your DHW if its doing your heating then it's been fitted wrong.
