Hi Folks

I'm having problems with my Worcester Bosch 240 Boiler hot water.
I can only get hot water when central heating is on and then only get HOT water by turning the central heating up high otherwise it is just warm.
If the central heating is switch off there is no domestic hot water supply at all. I have checked the Microswitch which seems to be working fine.

Any other idea's please
Regards
Dave

Is the pin moving when you turn on the hot water? This activates the DHW micro switch. Common fault on these that the diaphragm has failed and simple to replace.

Hi thanks
Yes the pin does move when you turn on the hot tap.

Does it move sufficiently enough to activate the switch? When was the diaphragm last renewed?

It seems to move a good distance and as far as I now the diaphram has never been renewed.

Cheers
Dave

You need to confirm that the switch is being activated when you turn on the hot water. If not, then change the diaphragm.
