The wife cleaned out the soap dispenser this morning then put a load of washing on, paused it very early in the cycle to open the door and put something that got missed (she does this regularly).
The machine got to the end of the cycle but the door won't open and the red lock symbol remains on.
I've left it switched off at the main for a few hours but as soon as you switch it on the red lock symbol comes on and the door remains locked.
We've put the machine on various other cycles but each time the cycle completes the machine makes a three clicking sounds which to me appears to be the lock trying to engage or disengage (could be something different though!).
Any ideas on how to fix this or at least how to manually unlock the door?
The are no errors showing on the screen.
