Hotpoint Aquarius WF000 will not turn on

hi all how things going in the DIY world
My Hotpoint Aquarius WF000 will not turn on. Played around with the plug, the fuse. The plug socket on the wall works so that's not it. The only thing that happens is that when i leave it unplugged for a few mins then i plug it in the lights go on for a split second Please Help
