Hello
Can anyone help me I have a Hotpoint TDC30P, which stops working after about 3 minutes of use. It only works again after you leave it for about 2 minutes. I have looked at the 3 thermocouples and the only way I have checked to see if they are the problem is to disconected them and see if the machine will still work with them disconected individually. Which it did on all three occasions.

Has this machine got a button that you press to start?

If it has then it could be the relay. Remove plug. Remove lid. Top of the machine at the centre front. Plastic box with a small coil in it and lots of wires. Can't guarantee it of course, but that's quite a common fault.

Thanks
I wired the coil up to the supply to check it and it failed after 3 minutes.
Bought a new one from RS for £7 work perfect.
Thanks you very much for your help

Regards
Paul
