Hotpoint washer, not going through cycle.

Hi Peeps.
Last week some time my washer stoped working and some kind sole on here advised me to change the brushes, which I did and the thing started working again, Great.

However a couple of days ago it stared making a strange noise and has stoped going through an entire cycle.
I put it on a cycle for, it empties the drawer and does the wash, but once that has happened, the wash, rinse and spin lights come on and I have to turn the dial to off and manually turn it to the rinse and spin setting for the wash to finish.

Hope this makes sense.

Can anyone help,please.

Any suggestions great.

Check the filter at the back poss blocked , remove rear White cover and undo the sump /filter it's got a big jubilee clip round it.
